How to Track RAC New Issues Pages

Postby erniedls » Fri Jan 15, 2016 3:03 am

Here is a free way to keep track of web pages, including the New Issues pages on the RAC websites.

Go to http://www.changedetection.com

You can enter a page for the service to watch, and tell it to watch for single character changes or phrases. When it detects a change, per your requirements, it sends you an email with the link to the page being watched, and a log of the changes.

The RAC New Issues pages make this kind of monitoring very difficult - they require multiple clicks to see the "latest" posts there - but this is at least a way to catch some of the changes being made.

It is perhaps even more useful for watching pages on the CMS website, or even on a MAC website.
